A little about me:
Hello, my name is Ariell :) I currently work here at Pearse Street Studio for Janet Craig Photography and have a variety of roles including social media blogger. I absolutely love it here and it is so amazing to meet such incredible, inspiring people during the Pet Project photo shoots and let's not forget to mention all of the animals as well!
I am originally from Vancouver, Canada and my journey began in 2005 when I completed my schooling to obtain a diploma in Esthetics. I worked predominantly in day spas and absolutely loved it. I enrolled in a basic photography course in 2006 in an effort to help build my portfolio and absolutely fell in love with photography, although I did not pursue it. In 2007, I went back to school and further my make-up skills and obtained an associates diploma in freelance make-up and hair styling. I’ve worked in several high-end spas including Vida Wellness Spa in Vancouver and Whistler as well as doing freelance make-up on the side where I specialised in weddings. In 2008, I moved to Australia on a working holiday visa where I worked and traveled for a year. During my time here I had the opportunity to work at the Chahoya Spa at Cable Beach Club in Broome, which was such an amazing experience and introduced me to the west coast of WA. After returning home in 2009, I transitioned into working in a medi-spas (Spruce Body Lab) where I became a laser technician and focused more on medical grade skin treatments while still doing freelance hair and make up on the side. I loved the medical side of things and in 2011 I went back to school to become a Licensed Practical Nurse to broaden my scope of practice in medical esthetics. As it turned out, I actually really enjoyed nursing as well. In 2013 returned to Australia, this time on a student visa where after three years I have finally completed my degree and am now officially a Registered Nurse.
